Travis joined Bell, Davis & Pitt in 2020 after graduating from UNC Law School and passing the bar exam. Travis works closely with clients to install estate planning strategies consistent with each client’s unique needs, values, and goals. In addition to regularly drafting Wills, Revocable Trusts, and Powers of Attorney, Travis counsels clients in the areas of gift and estate tax minimization, probate avoidance, gifting techniques, asset protection, and charitable planning. Travis also helps implement estate plans by advising fiduciaries in the administration of trusts and estates.
Travis co-authors the Estate Planning Law Blog with John Cocklereece and is Secretary of the Winston-Salem Estate Planning Council. He also serves as a lead volunteer for the North Carolina Bar Foundation’s Wills for Heroes program and is a member of the Estate Planning & Fiduciary Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and Winston-Salem Rotary Club.
