Mike Phillips is a litigator, concentrating his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, long-term care provider defense, employment claims, and land use matters.
Mike has handled a broad range of cases at the trial and appellate levels in North Carolina state and federal courts. Mike has a diverse litigation practice, including business disputes, commercial matters, defense of long-term care providers, employment claims, and land use matters. Drawing upon his litigation experience, Mike frequently advises clients in various aspects of risk management, staff and management training, and regulatory matters.
Mike serves on the Local Advisory Council for the Winston-Salem Office of the Legal Aid of North Carolina. He is also a board member of the Reagan High School Booster Club.
Prior to joining Bell, Davis & Pitt, Mike served as a law clerk for the Honorable George L. Wainwright, Jr. at the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
