Since graduating from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1981, Mallory has focused her work in residential and commercial real estate, and in business, corporate and banking transactions.
Mallory has practiced law in Winston-Salem for more than 34 years. She began her legal career with a small Winston-Salem firm and then served as in-house corporate legal counsel for a local real estate development firm for several years. She joined Bell, Davis & Pitt in 1993, prior to which she worked as an associate at another Winston-Salem law firm.
Mallory focuses her work in residential and commercial real estate, including commercial leasing, commercial real estate development and real estate acquisitions and sales. She serves as local North Carolina counsel for many national companies and represents several homeowners’ associations. Mallory also represents lenders in commercial real estate transactions and in other secured transactions.
Mallory is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Housing Foundation Inc., and has served on various other community and non-profit boards and committees including Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County, Inc., Sawtooth School for Visual Art and The Economic Development Committee for the City of Winston-Salem. Mallory has also served as a member of the Board of Advisors for Winston-Salem Business, Inc. and held numerous leadership positions in her church.
Mallory grew up in Winston-Salem and received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Mallory and her husband, Larry, have four children and six grandchildren. Mallory enjoys her family and spending time in the North Carolina mountains.
