LACEY MOORE DUSKIN
Lacey represents clients in a wide variety of litigation and appellate matters in both state and federal court.
Lacey has practiced law in Charlotte for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Bell, Davis & Pitt, Lacey gathered litigation experience in many diverse areas including complex business litigation, products liability, toxic tort litigation, construction law, lender liability, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, distressed credit, curative title issues, and intellectual property protection. Recently, Lacey has found herself representing corporations in litigation derivative of distressed credit, such as adversary proceedings in bankruptcy, lender liability, and breach of contract matters.
Lacey has first chaired both jury and bench trials and has extensive experience with both the state and federal rules of evidence, rules of court, motion practice, and trial procedure. Lacey has developed an appellate practice and as a result frequently appears in both state and federal appellate courts.
Lacey is a native Charlottean. She attended Providence High School and went on to attend the University of Georgia where she majored in political science. After graduating from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, Lacey returned to Charlotte to begin her legal career. Away from the office, Lacey and her husband, Mac, enjoy spending time at Lake Norman with their black lab Hap (named after Hap’s Grill in Salisbury, NC where her husband is from). Lacey also enjoys history, traveling, wine, yoga, and making homemade strawberry preserves with her grandmother.
